CLS v.s. Bentley Cont. GT
I'm doing an easy 100mph down I-95 South. I'm about to make a lane change around an 18 wheeler when this white 2007 Bentley Continental GT pulls out in front of me. I've never seen anyone drive a car like that, that aggressively. I'm thinking to myself this is the chance to see what this car can really do (552 HP/ 427Tq/V12. Top speed 198mph 
).
The slower car in front of him pulls out of the way and the dude in the Bentley shoots off!! Thank God I'm in the 80 to 85mph range to drop into 3rd with the sport shift. I'm on it HARD shifting out of 3rd and into 4th at 110mph....
The Bentley is accelerating hard to but......he's not pulling away.
I'm thinking to myself this guy must be fucking with me. He's matching my rate of acceleration and he's only 2 car lengths ahead of me. 110 to 120 and we're still matched. He's not pulling away and I'm not being left behind....
Right at 120 he backs off and pulls into the next lane. I seriously expected this car to burn the paint right off the sides of my car but it didn't happen. There's no way he could have been fucking with me to the point where both our speed is matched from 80 to 120mph. My only explanation is the car is nearly 2000 pounds heavier than the CLS and needed a little bit more space to overcome the tubbiness? At any rate it was fascinating to experience such an encounter.

You people make these ignorant comments like I didn't post the Bentley's specs at the beginning of this thread? And who's stupid? And who the hell said the CLS was competition for a Bentley? Did I say that anywhere in this thread? Don't misconstrue this post as me actually trying to take on Bentley. Don't forget--I'm not the one running around with headers, CAI, cat back exhaust, smaller pullies and all that other shit. I'm just plain stock having some fun. Keep it moving.

But for real, he took us (my brother and I) for a ride in it sunday and that thing accelerates pretty quick despite being heavy as hell, it appeared to accelerate faster than my CL-S (I'm putting 244hp & 213 to the wheels). I say appear because that thing is so smooth, you do not notice how fast your are going.

I once saw a m5 e60 walking away from a GT by 10 or more on I85 in Atlanta, it was about 11 at nite and then about 30 sec later a Civic flew by trying to catch them. The bentlry is a nice heavy car

My boss has a Bentley GT Continental as his 'everyday' car.
I've driven it ONE time and trust me when I say that CL's are not in the same league or even close to it.
This car maybe heavy like a brick house, but it moves like a stampede
