CLS is rattle monster!
CLS is probably the worst rattling car. My car is not even two years old, but I get more and more rattles....
Recently my rear passenger side tire and/or spring is making dinging noises every time I go over even a tiny bump, as if someone placed coins in my tire or suspension.
Does anyone else have this dinging/coin-like noises coming from your springs, or tires ( I have no idea where its coming from, but it bothers me ).

Mine is coming from the rear seat area or somewhere else in the back, maybe the same you are hearing. Sounds like metal hitting plastic or metal on metal. not too loud but enough to notice it. No idea yet what it is. Started about 3 month ago, car is 26 months old.

At least our cars don't fall apart after 30k of miles like Fords do.

I did have to change the brake pads, however.

Did this happen to you? Same clanking sound?
I can only hear it when my windows are open and I am going over a small bump on a speed like 5-10mph. Onlu happens on rear-right wheel,
Nothing like that happens on the other wheel.
My car is completly stock, 20K miles..
You think dealer will be smart enough to know how to fix the problem?

Every ford owner I have known has had many problems with there cars.
The trucks have less problems though. The cars are just problematic.
Now you are talking out of your ass. Reports show that they have lots of problems.

Sorry for my bad auto-parts education, but where is this sway bar thing? Is it easy to check on your own, or should I ask my dealer to look at it?

Sorry couldnt hold back but to ur question...
The sway bars are about thumb-thick and run horizontally, one in the front and one in the back, near the tires. The stock ones are black and the ones in the rear are easy to spot cos there isnt much going on back there and are almost straight. Theyre attached by the endlinks and also help up by coupe of brackets.
U should check it urself cos the guys at the dealerships are retards (they couldnt even find a simple rattle from my passanger door and i had to do it myself). So check it urself FIRST otherwise they'll send u home with a "COULD NOT IDENTIFY PROBLEM NOTED BY THE CUSTOMER" on ur paper

Why is it that you want me to believe everything you say when you obviously don't believe what I say?

I just have respect for them, which is something you losers don't have.

umm, duh.....i know you used to drive one.
this "loser" does have a little respect for them. a heritage american muscle car. but get real, the camaro Z28 (i don't care what the fuck it looks like) was a way better muscle car. the idea was to create a fast, cheap car. ford can't do shit with their V8 engines. the camaro with the detuned LS1 engine on the other hand........
mustangs have great history, but that's about it. only losers would stick up relentlessly for them this much.

Once I had my wheel bolts loosely tighten... I had driven total of 1 mile before coming back to tight them up. There was no visual damage and my wheel spins perfect... I wonder if this could cause a problem?

This thread is great. I always find it ironic that you guys bust Ford's chops on the quality issue on a site with a board specifically set up for rampant tranny problems.
