CLS Fast
I was driving ahead of my gf one day after meeting up with her at work. She has a used accord LX with stupid muffler (bought used) and I'm in my CLS.
We both head to the on-ramp. This is what she tells me:
We both head on the interstate freeway on-ramp. I'm ahead so i drive normal speeding into the on-ramp while she tailgated me for a reason I later found out.
Well, I kick it in 3rd gear and speed off (cause she was tailing). Then on the freeway down a huge straight strip of road (about 5 lanes), she catches up and tails me again. So I downshift to 3rd and I take off to about 90mph and I weave in and out of traffic like I normally do.
After we met up at our location she was so shocked. She told me at the on-ramp, she was tailing me on purpose to see if she can "catch" up to my car. When i sped off during the on-ramp, she floored her car redlining it and she couldn't even pull to catch up to my car.
When she was again behind me on that long straight highway road, she said that I again sped off and this time, she just couldn't keep up...not even close...she floored the car and again, it would not catch up...she says it seemed that my car would go so fast (accelerating so quickily) and it looked really cool doing it while moving in and out between cars.
I thought the CLS is fast too...but I guess some weaker model cars like accords just can't keep up with the CLS'. I'm not saying other faster cars won't beat us in terms of acceleration, but shit, it does seem like our car is really quick.

Why you feel proud of beating an Accord? If this was a 330, 328 or even a 530, things like that, then I would feel proud, cuz once you hit 110mph, you will get spank BADLY in 4th and 5th... and you have 260hps while they have somewat 225hps... and now you compare a 260hps to a 200hps, they are NOT SUPPOSE to catch up with you, if they do, then you really in deep trouble! Thats not call FAST, thats call normal/suppose!
