CLS-6spd question
I don't believe I ever had this in another manual, but in my CLS-6spd there is a click when I press the clutch.
So I have two questions:
1. Do all CLS-6spd have this?
2. Why would Acura build this "feature" in?
Thanks!

What do you mean by a click? Mine doesn't seem to have it...although after about an inch of travel when pushing the clutch in, it seems that the effort to push it the rest of the way is very minimal...as if it just grabs it for you. But no, I don't hear any kind of click.
I did hear a little bit of squeaking before during that one inch of travel, both while pushing in the clutch (1st inch or so) and also when releasing it (last inch or so)...but it seems to have when away...I assume it was the spring.

a click? mine doesn't have it... give it a week or so and see if it wears itself in... if not then just bring it back... squeeze that warranty for everything it's worth...

I thought I read somewhere that the clutch was self-adjusting. Perhaps that's what it was doing?

I have a click. I always figured it was the switch that keeps you from starting the engine without the clutch down. I think the Maxima I test drove had a similar click.

Clutch click
All Honda clutches have a 'click'... although its very faint and
can't be felt/noticed most of the time. Sometimes if the click can
be felt like a 'step' in the motion of the clutch, it could be the clutch fork needs lubrication or the slave-cylinder needs some adjustment.
worst case.. take it to the dealer, they'll fix it.

Bye the way, the "click" sound is similar to the click you would hear from a pen (the type you press on one side to get the ball point to come out the other end. Sorry for the lame explanation, but it is all I can think of.
My CLS-6spd is now almost 3 months old and has over 2000 km on it. So break in period is over.
Thanks everyone for the input!
