Cloudiness in paint?
Cloudiness in paint?
my car is a month old and i have noticed 2 circular cloudy spots.........one on the hood and the other on the trunk.....it looks like the dealer tried to buff something out.........the car is balk......anyhow, what do i do?.......will dawn or claybar get this out.........my zaino just got here and i dont want to polish over these spots unless of course it will help .....please let me know ....thanks
I have one on my hood, it seemed as if mine appeared a couple of months after I got my car also. Is this a paint defect or something? I went to a detailer and he said it was within the paint and that it wasn't due to something like bird shit.
I have the same thing........I've waxed, zainoed, buffed, highspeed buffed, glazed, compounded.........nothing seems to work. I have a spot on my hood about the size of a silver dollar, you can only see it in the right light though!!!!!

I had the same thing on my MBP on the trunk lid. I think my marks in the paint was done by their deatiler when the car was prepped. That's what I think happened to me. I brought it back to the dealer and they somehow removed the cloud or swirl mark. IMO, trying to repair this by yourself could damage the paint more.
