Here is my original post, the topic name was misleading apparently... My apologies to those who did not realize her A-pillar almost tagged my mirror, which would've meant me getting new mirrors, and since insurance would be paying, they'd be TL Type S mirrors ... since that has been the talk around here the past few days ... Guess I figured everybody would put 2+2 together and get a good laugh , I wasn't BSing if you think about it...


So I'm out with a buddy from work over lunch, over in Edina (the Ritzy part of town), and I'm making a left at a really big intersection, 3 lanes in each direction. Some lady makes a right turn from the opposite direction, and crosses all 3 lanes [at the same time i'm making my left hand turn] and almost smacks me ... Lucky I'm a good driver and actually turned into my lane (the leftmost; most people go into the middle lane) -- I saw her and jammed my brakes and steered my car within and inch of the curb, i felt the ABS, though i scratched my rims, and her hood was definately under my mirror, my buddy thought she hit me for sure ... stopped behind her at the next light, and she's all waving at me, i checked my rim on my side, and the passenger side, everything looked ok, gosh was that a close call ... stupid rich ladies in their huge boats...
