Clock problem...

Yeah...

I bought a 2001 CL-Type S 3-weeks ago (already one speeding ticket). Had a question about my clock that sits above the A/C controls. At night, when I turn on my headlights the backlight of the clock doesn't turn on. I assume it is supposed to because I can't tell time at night in the car otherwise. All of the other backlights in the car work (the a/c, the radio, etc) but not the clock. The dimmer switch is turned all the way up and still nothing happens with the clock backlight (the a/c and radio change along with the gauges but the clock will not light up). Any suggestions? Thanks!

It just might be that light that's burnt out. have the dealer replace it.

Do a search. This has been discussed before. One poster punched the clock and got the light to work.

I had the thing for about two weeks when I got my first (and only) speeding ticket. It just doesn't seem like your going that fast! 65 in a 45 (I thought it was a 55).

To fix the clock just order the tiny $4 - $5 bulb and do it yourself. The dealer charges something $30 to do it. My wife's Accord light went out and it was easy to fix. You can get the part number from the parts place at the dealership usually. Speeding tickets suck...I got my first one 2 weeks ago. Bastard said I was doing 90 in a 70. I could of sworn it was more like 75..oh well.
