I raced my friend's father's CLK430 with my CL with Intake/Headers. I had approx. 1.5 car lengths on him up to about 80mph.

I think you should slightly beat a stock auto CLS, but it will be pretty close IMO

stock clk 430 is pretty fast..as it has a big V8 engine..
which produces 270HP and more torque than CLS..
so i figure..it will be faster than cls with that mods..

 

really how fast are auto cl-s with i/h/cai 0-60 mph isnt it like 5.8

 

we dont have a dual throttlebody we cant have 2 cai's...

Zeroday you first must be able to beat the CL-S before you can race me. Last time I checked you didnt want to race my auto cl-s not to mention my 6 spd.

my mom has a ML430, it has no redline the tach just goes to 7000, i brought it up to 6000 once, but bas wondering what is the redline on urs? is its four speed or five speed?

CL-s with mods will bounce hard on a clk 430 off the line till about 100, when the cl shifts into 4th, if the race continues it will loose. Off a roll, it will be a tough call, mercedes vehicles have that highway pulling power/gearing. I think it would be a lot closer. Stock for stock off the line. But you will own once speed builds up. Off a highway roll you will tear him a new one.

i raced one before w/ just headers and it was VERY CLOSE to 0~80 with the 430 edging a little but after that no way in hell a NA cl-s will catch a v8 in triple digits
