Clearing Headlights

I just cleared my headlights and a friend of mine wants to do it to his 99 honda accord LX. Does anyone know if it is possible to do it, and how? Would it be the same process?

Its more than likely the same process. The reason most people do it on our CL is that there arent any aftermarket headlight available. The Accord on the other hand has TON of aftermarket headlights for it and for cheap prices. Instead of going through all the hassles, your friend might as well buy new headlight that are already cleared. Plus you can get projectors, blacked out, etc. That way he can keep his stock ones and switch back when needed.

well, i did around 300 degrees for like 5-10 minutes...and there really is no insurance against melting, other than checking on it every 2-3 minutes or so...once the headlight gets pretty hot u should take it out and start prying it apart. ive cleared about 6-7 sets of headlights, but only messed up on one set (sadly it was a member on this board, sorry again john)..but it was cuz i totally forgot i had one in the oven...so my advice to you is, do one headlight at a time and don't try to do 2 things at once. and also check the oven very often.
