cleared out headlights in sandiego

Is there any one with 2001 CL type S in San Diego that has cleared out headlights? Also would like to talk to people who have put modes on their rides. Right now clearing the headlights is my mission.

i cleared mine out a few months ago. i absolutley agree that it was well worth the time

however you should remember a few things:

1. it takes a LONG time....don't get frusterated and skip steps....thats a bad idea

2. follow langjae's directions, especially the parts about checking to see if the lights fog before you put them back in. i didn't follow his advice...and needless to say i found out a few days later that my lights fogged. thankfully i was able to fix it, but it was still a bitch.

3. definitley get someone to help you. pulling apart the housing can be extremely difficult by yourself.

thats all i got.
good luck!

There's a place in Orange County that will do them for somewhere around 100 dollars...

We, SF Bay Area folks, are doing a set of cleared headlights up here and will have an extra one when we are done...

so contact bobowah@yahoo.com in about two weeks.

hey whats up guys...
I got my lights cleared a few months ago, and I live in San Diego (858) area... La jolla actually. if you guys want to see it, or need some help, i'd be willing. just email me at a5kim@ucsd.edu and maybe we can work out a time to meet and stuff.

I also want to know if anyones interested in a group meet to work on navi screen video input conversions...

i pulled one of the lights apart myself and did a horrible job, bent the plastic all over the place and such. needless to say, that was the light that fogged. my friend helped me with the other one, and we did a much cleaner job of pulling it apart which in turn made sealing it back up much easier.

I live in SD too!

I go to San Diego State, and I have quite a few mods...and would be interested in meeting up with all of you! I think a little meet would be pretty cool because I don't know anyone in SD with the same car enthusiasm as I do, and I would like to meet some. Let me know. Thanks in advance.
