I just purchased a silver '03 CL Type S w/o nav. All I have done so far is...Comptech Icebox, 35% tint, OZ Canyon rims, Dunlap Direzza tires, and added the factory spoiler. Anyone know where I can get clear headlight lenses and lights for the openings in the front lower bumper?

I've looked and can't find an exact match for either. I have found fog light for the TL and they look like they would fit. Does anyone know if they would for sure?

 

I haven't heard if anyone has successfully fit TL fogs onto a CL. The '01 & '02 have road lamps which will fit an '03. You might check the Black Market/Private Sales and Trades forum. You can also check www.oemacuraparts.com. They have the road lamps for $31 ea. and the headlight lense & housing for $180 ea.

Thanks, it surprises me that there are openings in the lower bumper for lights but there aren't any aftermarket kits specifically for it.

 

Ok, I'll help out the new guy...

1.) You have to clear the headlights yourself, you can't buy them. Do a search on here, there is an excelent DIY write up. I'm in the process of doing an extra set of '02 lights clear/painted black '03 style.

2.) Like CL'er said, you need to order the "roadlamps" from an '01-'02 CL. Keep in mind though, that the "roadlamp" is NOT a fog light and you'll need to get PIAA or Polarg bulbs for them if you want them to look good. I recomend PIAA's, I think they look the best. Do a search on my user name for roadlamps and you'll find tons of info, I've been over it a LOT. - Oh, and TL fog lights will most definitely not fit a CL as the bumber covers are different and the lights are shaped different.

That's good (or bad?) to know, because I'm always keeping an eye out for some "real" fog or driving light replacements. Oh well. In the meantime, it's PIAA's which look decent enough.
