Clear headlights...

I hear that you can order clear headlights from japan somewhere for the 2001 CL-S, does anyone know anything about this, money being no option? Please let me know. Thanks

you know ive cleared a few headlamps before

and i think its easy

the only reason why i havent cleared my lamps yet is because i think its going to be tough to remove the bumper and the hid bulbs

i am a pussy about it

but if you just cant wait to do it

then

CLEAR THEM YOURSELF

here are some simple instructions

go to home depot and get some silicon

drop the bumper and remove the headlamps

take a blow dryer and heat up a section of the headlamp

take a flat head screwdriver and slowly pry open the headlamp case

just do it all the way around and u got them seperated

take out the amber piece

apply silicon and reverse the whole process

just make sure u get a good seal

your going to fuck up your headlights if you go prying them open with a screwdriver & a heat gun

read the directions i posted.

and hes totally right... its not incredibly hard to do. but you can easily fuck up...

btw, removing the bumper is the easy part. theres nothing to it... a couple screws and a couple clips... voila its off.

removing the HID's isnt an issue... since they remain attached to the housing. you just unplug the power supply.
