No chance you will get a new '03 for 20-24. That's what the '01 and '02 are going for with around 20-40k miles.

Yeah you can't get a 03 model in the 20 to 24k range unless its got a lot of miles on it.

I'm sure Honda is pumping $$ to the dealers to clear em off the lots so they should be had for under dlr invoice.

Buying a new Chrys Town & country Ltd for my mom tomorrow-38,545 window, 29750 +tax....$5500. rebate from Chrysler...

IF you can find a 03 still on the lot, you can get them below invoice (which is something like 28.5K).

You might be able to get one new for 27K or so (if you can find one).

There are alot of CLS's out there used. I've started to see some used 03's show up, but they'll be at the top end of your budget.

Do a seach on autotrader.com, and you find what the used 03s are going for.

EDIT: I'll sell you my 03 6spd for 27K delivered

Think before you buy!

Let's think awhile about the other cars you're considering.
The 20th Anniversary GTI is a tarted up Golf from the last model year before the new one comes out (already out in Europe), so you're paying VW extra money for cosmetics while getting an old car. You think Acura might have QC issues? Ask someone with a VW or Audi.
I really wanted to like the RSX, and I test drove a few. I just found them to be very high-strung, uncomfortable little cars that were designed to meet a low price point (which of course they are). And after buzzing and bouncing around in one while my 2001 CL-S tranny was out and making my fiancee car sick from the nervous, stiff suspension, I don't care for them any more.
But for way less than either of those two cars, you could have a really nice used CL-S with 25-30k miles. It is fast, classy, roomy, and relaxed (and relatively rare). And I think if you asked any of us: "With the warped brake discs, ticking time bomb auto tranny, and interior rattles, do you still love it?" I think the answer will most often be "YES."
Bottom line: Get something you are going to like for a long time.

I bought my '01 CL-S in 9/2000 brand new for $27,488 (mine was a PDG model; the dealer was selling non-PDG models for $500 more) when the model was first introduced. A discontinued '03 model should be ~ $26.5K - 26.8K IMHO.

Yeah, probably. I rounded up to 27K 'cause I like even numbers

There have been posts that mention that there are still some 03's on dealers lots, but you won't get your choice of colors. IIRC they 03's that were sighted at a east coast dealership were white.

I was at my dealer today. No 03's left but they have a shitload of used 01's and 1st gens.
