lol, ok, so I doubt I'll be detailing it either, the rain here has been terrible. And my 2 kids told me a few weeks ago that they cleaned my car... with a dirty towel that was laying around, they put so many micro scratches in my hood. I think the right price is $500 due to the age of the car, limited car production and it's Christmas Holiday. If you sell it for $500 alot of CL owner will be able to buy and this will increase your sales. That's why nobody is buying because it's too expensive no offense!!. Ronjon please lower the price to $500 then you'll see an increase of sale for sure. I will sign up for the group buy if this is $500 thanks!

If I drop it down to $500, it would have virtually no profit margin, I'd rather not sell it at that price than take a loss. It's made of poly-urethane, so it costs more than usual, I'm not basing the price on the vehicle or the popularity of the kit, I'm basing the price on the production costs and material costs. They are built to order, so I really have no need to blow them out, I'd just wait till I get a few orders and make em.

 

iam down for the group buy on the front lip how much for deposit and if he does 725-750 for whole kit id be down to buy the whole thing and i can even come to pick it up

Paint is only available for full kits, not individual pieces, setup brings the cost to a relatively high number. Better off having a local shop do your paint at that point.

i think Ron should start a new thread and post all the information about the group buy and people should add on. I would be down for the kit, just not a big fan of the front lip... ill take everything but the front lip and whoever wants the front lip will just pitch in with me and have 2 separate shipping addresses...

 

Someone who is participating can start a new thread and post it with the names in the list and link this thread there as well as that thread here. Please combine 03CL-S6SMike and cleptosis for one full kit shipped two different locations.

When we hit 5 members, I'll take a $200 deposit from each participant and get a schedule for production started.

 

Why are people complaining about the price? First you guys asked rj for a discount on a group buy. He drops the price from $1080 to $820 if at least 5 buy. Now you haggle him more, WTF?! He understands what his margins are and what his price should be to make it attractive to aziners. A 25% decrease in price is more than fair I would say, actually somewhat generous.
So is the $820 shipped rj? If not how much to ship to 20905. Also how much more to paint the kit NBP? Just saw this thread this morning so am going to check funds and see when I will be able to commit to buying a kit but I am def interested. Good looking out Ron!

 

I think i may join the list. How long does take to make a kit ? I am able to put the deposit soon but everything depends on how long it is this going to take.

 

I also was wondering if the price included shipping. I dont know if it would be a great idea to ship a full lip kit painted, what if the paint gets damaged in the shipping process.
