CL + TL = Newbreed?

Ok before I get the "try search button" responses, I already searched and couldnt find what I was looking for....

Anyways I've seen pictures of our CLs' with TL lip kits molded on and was wondering if the two cars are similar enough to do a whole front end conversion.

My idea of a conversation = TL front bumper, fenders, headlights, foglights, and if needed the hood? (all from an '02-'03)

I love having a coupe but I actually like the TL front end better than the CLs' and also it seems to me like the TL lights may possibly be brighter? So, to me it seems like the perfect project to try out and combine the best of both cars but I came to you guys to see if my ideas could actually work.

Have fun changing a whole bunch of stuff including the hood, headlights, bumper, mounting brackets, etc... Many years ago I saw a thread on this but the car looked kind of weird. If you're going to spend that kind of dough why not do something unique like grafting E Class headlights into a CL or something?

This has been brought up before.
You can do it with enough $. You'll have to swap the entire front support beams & grill support(welding & cutting), & get all the parts like fenders, bumper, hood, grill, lights, etc.

The E-Class lights I can think of off the top of my head remind me of the Subaru "Bug-Eye" look on the older Imprezas....

Actually I'd use CLS lights... on a CL that would be unique and sexy as hell and you could do all sorts of cool things with the underbody spoiler!

Agreed. Would be nice if it were sharper and less rounded, but then it probably wouldn't match the body as much.

^^ yeah, I had a set of eyelids made from vinyl, pretty ghetto i know, but it made the shape of the headlight more like that of a 7th gen accord... looked better, but its vinyl...

I got back and forth, somethings I dont like our headlights, but with a lip on the front I think the headlights look pretty good so big. Just my opinion, but it seems to change quite a bit, haha.

Ok, I now have a connection at a body place and can get the actual bodywork done cheaper. I also have found a supplier for the parts that will get them for 45% off list price.
Would I have to get new inverters/ballasts and the like to work for the Tl headlights or would my CL parts work with headlights?
