Are Cl-s's really this expensive!!
Lately i have noticed that the trade in value of our cars our low, mine is $16k with 32k miles on a 2001, no nav.
Well i went to Kbb.com and looked to see how much it would cost to buy my exact car from a dealer......$22,365!!!
So basically a dealer can expect to make over $6k on my car. thats outrageous.

i've noticed that its hard 2 sell a cl privately
but most dealers really want them bad since they can buy them cheap (due 2 being discounted) and get a nice premium on them

First thing they do when you trade is look at the book. I don't care how good condition/low mileage your car is, you get the lowest book value.....

yup, i paid 22500 from ramsey acura, i know i go ripped but they wouldnt budge at all for almost a week, I got only 500 off. I also traded a 96 lex es300 in and got 4500, more then i expected bc of the valve prob i had, bald tires, and cosmetic damage, and tint. Ive heard that alot of acura dealers arent budging on the cls but i may be wrong.

And with all the 0% financing going on the used car market is getting bloated. It's really a buyers market out there. If you're looking to trade in something, now might not be the best time.

it all depends on your county, the dealers know how much money most of the majority of the people are making so they dont have to negotiate bc theyll know it will sell.
