I totally agree that it is possible to go 12s N/A ,i personally went 13.5@100 with just I/H/E with radials cutting a 2.0 60ft on my first track visit and on a hot summer day,and i feel like with more track time and a cooler night with the right conditions i could cut it down to a low 13 with the same setup.I also dynoed 253hp to the wheels which is average with my bolt ons.I also talked to a shop in VA that did some work to a CL6 that dynoed if i recall correctly 286 to the wheels and went 13.1 messing around,so i totally believe he could go mid to high 12s with the right conditions.

Luxury cars can be fast also, and it is great to see the faces of V8 guys when you beat them,i have personally beat 6.0 GTOs,SS camaros,Mustangs all day long,G35s,350Z,IS350,but do understand that its a drivers race and i raced all of them from a stop,so from a roll with some of the V8s we wouldnt have a chance, but thats the great part about our cars, they are sleepers cause nobody knows what they are and what they can do,so continue the good work and best of luck!

another member here put down well over 300 HP in his 6 speed CL running relatively low boost.

it seems like rajca is planning on forged internals with low compression and high boost.

A 3g TL-er known as typ-s09 ran 13's stock just from excellent shifting. he was in a base model 6 speed tl. it is common knowledge that an auto type-s 2g tl is just as fast as a base model 3g tl. so one can conclude that a 6 speed cl is just as fast as a 6 speed base 3rd gen.

with the right tune, the right tires, and the right shifting and boost. the cl can be a mid to high 12 second car.

just a thought
typ-s09 did go a high 13sec pass stock, and also the 3g TL has higher compression than the CL6 and i believe the CL is faster than the 3gTL ,but typ-s09 now has a s/c and has gone a best 13.1 on street tires so with radials i believe he can go 12s,or a least he better or i will bust his chops forever lol since i installed his s/c and just sold him my radials,he has no excuses now!

thats a diff story now. 3.5 will produce way more torque then a 3.2 and the 3.5 will bump up the hp a bit more.

ok, back to my statement, no one has done a 3.5L Turbo in a CL. J32A3 is the 04-06(? not sure on years) TL motor.

not sure if theirs a weight difference in between the ur and teh option but my ur barely weight anything. might be a diff, between the 6spd and auto. with the ur pulley in i can make solid peel outs through out the whole rpm unlike before where it would only peel out a bit.

i used the method where u but the bar on the ground and crank the engine over. on the second crank it broke lose. easiest way to do.

The option pulley was like 2lbs compared to about 12lbs stock pulley so i know it wieghed alot less and was alot smaller, what other engine mods do u have?
Maybee it is alot more noticable in 6 speed!

Replace your battery with an odyssey if it's a track car with occasional street use. The weight savings will yield 20+ lbs, the odyssey batteries are 10-12lbs.

Actually it's not that type...

It's a single piece that runs the entire width of the CL.

Mounts from underneath.
