CL-S v.s 08' Audi Q7

I'm cruisin' down the street just came from the beach when this dude at a red light revs up his SUV and jack rabbits off the line when the light turns green. The exhaust note sounded pretty beefy so I raced up to him at the next light.

He sits there all cocky and shit like he's in a Lamborgini with his stereo system on full blast. I'm thinking this guy will take me off the line but I'd catch up, so I gate shifted down to first and turned off the VSA. The light turns green and his SUV takes off growling.

We were neck n' neck and I was almost up to the top of my first gear when his automatic shifted into second and he fell back like a ton of bricks. We come up to the next light and I pull into his lane and break hard with plenty of room to spare just to let him know how owned he was--not only did I out accelerate him I outbreaked him.

The light turns green and I ease over to the adjacent lane so I could see the emblems on the back of the SUV. It was a 2008 Audi Q7 4.2 litre--top of the line. We're at the next green light and this time he lets all of his windows down. The light turns green but this time I have a half a mile before the next light. Same thing happens again. I eat his lunch at the top of first gear and slam it into second making the wheels chirp. That's when he totally gave up and I left him holding his nuts in his hand. That was a brand new, 60,000 dollar car. The way he was driving it he's probably had it for every bit of probably a few weeks to a couple of months and his ego was already crushed by an aging, heavy FWD car with no hand break, a shitty tranny, and poor advertising.

hahahaahh im loving the end of that "heavy fwd with no hand brake and poor advertising". Maybe if they had advertised more that dude wouldnt have even tried. Not exactly the same class but nice kill, never feels bad beating a v8.

not surprising - I took an ML 55 a while back ... I would have been shocked if the Q7 could keep pace.

But good to know

Drive safe and don't get caught

Well, just looked up the specs of the Q7 4.2L, it has 350hp, but it weighs a massive 5500lbs...and Car and Driver got 0-60mph in 7.5s. No wonder you pulled bus lengths on him haha.

To answer y'all's questions:

No I don't have any mods yet but I'm getting headers this summer. I know that Audi was heavy as hell but just think--it was a brand new 60,000 dollar SUV with a 350hp V8. He was taking off from every traffic light like he was Kenny Burnstein. I just had to do it. I'm not saying my old CL-S is the best thing since sliced bread. A dude in a new Mercedes S class slaughtered me a few weeks ago and some dude beat me in a early 02-05 BMW 3 series beat me this morning. The BMW had a stick and I couldn't tell which model because the badges were clean missing. I know with headers I would have pulled on him. Dude must have had mods because I beat an 07 BMW 3 series a couple years ago.

I know it's hard to resist but racing on the street is a bad idea.

(I typed that as much for myself as anyone else)
