Does anybody know where I can get the thicker MOE ehaust tips that came with 2003 3.2CLS6 vice the paper thin ones that I've seen? I need one for the right exhuast, and I don't want to put those thin ones on the car as that's all ACURA has available. Or any recommendations for aftermartket perhaps that are close to MOE exhaust? OEM & they are 03 mufflers sold as a complete part. They are not made seprate. Check the Black market maybe someone is selling them

how close is 5.25" Diameter 2.25" I.D. Inlet 7.25" Length coming to fitting our CL's?

 

I think those Magnaflows are right on! THANKS!! I'll check ebay for any black market deals...but two of those Magnaflows are cheaper than one exhaust kit from the dealer.

 

do you guys have pics of how these fit and look on the car? i cant tell by the pic how they compare to the stock exhausts.

 

i THOUGHT the inlets were 2.25" but someone mentioned 2" on the axleback section.

The diamter on ours is 3.75x2.5, i have the '03, and i measured inside the lip. but fear not, there is PLENTY room to fill in the 5.25x2.75. I think it will fill it in perfectly.

Our tips are 5" from the muffler to the edge. Magnaflow states 7.25" so thats over 2" extra. Not so good. Although they measure the ENTIRE thing, a muffler shop may be able to clip any extra piping in back of the tip and fit it on, i'm not sure how it works.

Honestly, my idea was to put those tips for universal magnaflows. I think it would retain the somewhat stock look with the aftermarket exhaust. Also, our tips are angle slightly. Its hard to notice unless you are directly on top of it. It's hard to tell from magnaflows picture how these are angled, if at all.

the very inside will probably turn black, but i may mask off the tip, and spray paint the whole inside black so you dont see the stupid circle. i was going to paint my mufflers a flat black too.
