CL-S Drivers

I don't know if it's just me, but about 80% of the people I've seen on the road that drive CL's are old farts, excuse me, are more refined. I think the last 7 cl's that I've seen have been driven by grandpa looking guys. One kat actually pulled next to me at a light and asked if my car was a special sport package, (probably because of the drop and rims) I said, "yeah didn't your dealer have this setup? this is the type-s sport touring package." He tells me, "wow if I knew about that I would have gotten that option." That would be something else, grandpa cruising in a dropped cl with 18" SSR's.

When you visit this board its easy to overlook the majority of the actual cl owners. Or at least what acura intended the cl buyer to be. I say we add a bingo and senior citizen discount section to the board. . Hey Soopa maybe you could see if the AARP would sponsor the site.

I'm an old fart in traffic. You just don't want to find me in the hills...

One of the joys of the car (Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde) "A car for Evil Twins" (oops, just my opinion)

Old age and treachery will always beat youth and enthusiasm.

HAHAHAAA..... I've seen all kinds of people driving a Type-S, and an NSX for that matter too.... I think Acura does taylor the CL more for the people who don't have young kids, or the kids have left home, they made a comment like that about the G1 CL... But I think they're happy with it being a age blender, everyone is pretty happy with it...

What? Old people can not drive CL? As long as they like it and they have money, they could drive anything they want. Young people could drive very old style cars too like Benz S-class. I see no problem.

The dealership is happy to sell the car to anyone. Acura has demographics in my when the design and market the CL.

Correct. However, Acura doesn't mind if CL sales are strong outside the demographic.
