Dropped it off this morning to repaint my back bumper and install a spoiler! I'm car less for 2 days

The worst is Monday, I have to drop it off for another 2 days to get my rims refinished and earn my ticket out of the scratched rims club....

I've also got to install my new AEM CAI on the weekend.... I'll never get to drive the damn car!.

 

I know what you mean. I haven't even had my car three weeks and it's in the body shop. I hadn't even had it for 48hrs yet when I was blindsided by a kid on a bike that was running a red light. He thought he could get across before my light turned green. My signal went green, started to turn, next thing I know a kids flying over my hood. Thank goodness I was just coming off the line and still in "break in mode", otherwise I could have creamed him. Luckily it was only scrapes and bruises on him. However my new baby is a whole different story. Approximately $1500 worth of damage to the right front side. He dinted in the front quarter and punched a whole through my bumpter....DOH!! Oh well it's all covered by the insurance and the kid is okay, so all's well that ends well.

Though I'm going through withdrawl symptoms.....damn this is worse then when i quit smoking......

My ordeal was the same....some idiot backed into me and made 2 minor, but deep scratches in the rear bumper....when the estimate came out to $500 for repairs, he didn't want to pay up or surrender insurance information, so I called the cops to hound his persian ass (sorry Amir )... Those scratches have been bugging me for the longest time, so I am finally getting rid of them (and getting a spoiler at the same time)....

On Monday, the wheels are going in for refinishing...this car is costing me an arm and a leg!

 

my car goes in monday for a new front bumper. at least the other guys insurance company has to pay for a rental car.
