CL premium (base model) tire.

Hi,
I had a flat on my 40k mile CL-P. So I am planning to replace two tires at this time. Can I get some advice on which brand and model I should go with? It's 205/60R16, not many choices out there I believe. Thanks.

If your only going to replace two, I would imagine your options are limited to what the other two tires are.

size-wise it's limited, but not the brand or model though. I think I still have a good 10-15k miles on the tires, so I will wait a little longer for the rest. How are the Bridgestone Potenze RE92? Thanks.

Hmm since you didnt say what type of tire you were looking for (ie all season, dry, etc) I am assuming a year round tire.

Of the Tire Rack options I'd personally go with the Dunlop SP Sport A2. They appear to have better ratings.

Way better tread life rating too 160 vs 420.

Just my 2cents

Sorry I didn't specify the type of tires. Yes I do plan to get all season tires, but also performanced inclined. I do want to stay with V speed rating (or does it matter?). I do like hard conering and I do worry about wet performance as well. I don't care much about snow or extremely long tread life. Thanks.

Me personally id take the dunlop ..even with the HR speed rating.

IHMO its a better tire, and should corner better. Difference between an HR and VR in terms of handling is the HR should have a slightly less stiff sidewall, but I doubt, given the heft of our cars, we would note the difference.

Just one mans opinion

Thanks for the input.
Acura uses a rather unpopular size for CL-P. It seems the choices are quite limited. The stock, or Potenza RE92, or Dunlop sport A2. RE750 doesn't have my size.

Thanks again.
