is this the way the intake should look on a CL-P? I have noticed most of the onse on the CL-S sit down a lot more toward the bumper.... the intake has the correct part number but doesnt look all that right.

 

I have a CL-P and thats exactly how my looks. If everything is connected you should be fine. BTW- i sent you a PM

yup.. the cl-p cai's sit like that.

the cl-s filter sits horizontally.

is it easy to install an intake, i'm gonna be getting my v2, and i have no experience with mods

 

have you tried mounting the tab on the top of the rubber bushing between a flat washer. it provides a little more give for the intake under hard acceleration. I'v actually seen those tabs break if they are not mounted right

 

You are right, but the funny thing is that this thread is 2 years old...

 

Mines aint like that, but I have to V2. Goes down a little more I think.
