it doesnt matter what you drive, someone with a faster car is gonna rag on it.. the new TL has 10 more hp so they have the right to say your CL-S sucks!
plus no one knows the difference between a CL-P and a CL-S except for us... most people dont even know what a CL is!

I believe Will is referring to a thread I started earlier this week in which I was trying to convince one of my friends to not buy a 2003 CL-P. That's where the "I'd rather get the Type-S" sorta words came up.
-Just for the record, I was trying to convince him not to buy a CL in the first place :P.
-Needless to say, his ass bought the CL-P anyway over an '02 Accord. Despite my convincing him not to buy the car, I realize that I probably woulda done the same thing. Transmission problems or not

I personally love my CL. I wanted an S but there wasn't one on the lot the day I was buying my car. I had totalled my accord, needed a car and was sick of test driving. Drove a TL, loved it, almost busted a nut when I saw the CL. Drove it, signed papers about an hour later. Sure, I would ahve loved to have purchased an S, and even more, Navi, but it was appearance only that won me over. Not sure how many of you have seen random pics of my CL but I have one of the most negative contributors to speed on my car...here's a hint...it's black, long, made out of aluminum and bares the name YAKIMA on the windvisor...
Again, it's your car. If someone's got a problem with what you drive, that's their problem. You make the payments, you wash it, you pimp the ladies in it, etc. And if an AV6 tries to talk shit, just blind 'em with your xenons. Chances are, you'll be passing them so fast they won't have time to look for the typeS logo...
Something to consider: the CLP is the CL. Acura added the Navi model, the Navi Type S model and the Type S model to cater to certain tastes. Fortunately all 4 are good tastes, but not everyone has the same. Unless you have a 6mt navi Type S...then you're just a greedy sonofabish
But my point is that Acura didn't make the CLS and then detune it to have a 'budget slowass model' as some would like to think. They are the same fundamentals and principles behind Acura's mission statement to create a luxury coupe with a shitty transmission.
