CL named best buy by intellichoice
Yep the CL, and the RL as well, were rated best buys for overall performance, amenities, standard equipment, gas mileage, emissions and projected ability to hold their value! Pretty nice compliments.

I read it in the autoweek newspaper that is free at my grocery store. I can try and find the link info tonight.

Well, I'm more shocked that they named the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS as the best overall value in base sport, MB SL500 for as best overall value in sport!
I dunno, but no Mercedes SL strikes me as a great value. Great cars, but certainly no bargain.

Strange, they say "Type S Model Shown". Wrong! It's a P.
Oh well, at least we made the list!

I've driven the SL500 and it's just not a sports car. It drives more like a truck. It's a be-seen-in car; no fun at all.
Naming anything by Mitsubishi as a winner for "value" is sh*t for brains stupid. All their cars are built to fall apart, and have been for years. If you want a Mitsubishi with value, buy a Hyundai. They are new and improved Mitsubishis that still fall apart, but look nicer while self destructing, and have better warranties.
Intellichoice is about like J.D. Power - "Rent-a-Review."
