Something bad turned into something good?
That is going to look stellar when it is finished. The RJ aerokit is the only tasteful lip and skirt kit that I have ever noticed for our cars.

So scary seeing a CL like that
Yeah the TL lip kit looks nice when finished, yet I have heard that it is a lot of work with the modification.

I love the RJ kit too, but for me that too much $$ to just buy when there is still performance to be had. Your situation obvious dictated different circumstances to you....

I think that kit will be like a finisher on my CL, the final touch before I just relax and drive her...

@AutsinTaper thanks the body shop has had a hard time fitting the kit its so warped in some spots and they tried baking it and re shaping it with a heat gun and the passenger side side skirt wont return to its original form but i told them if worse come to worse to use a screw to keep it in place besides that the front fit all most perfect except there is like a quarter inch space where the wheel wells go to on the bumper on both sides ill keep you guys posted

you attach the side skirt to the orginal, but later on it will sorta warp at the bottom. the s type brackets keep the bottom of the side skirt from warping... which will cause your molded side skirt to crack at the mold. trust me... use the s brackets. i can post pictures of it wensday if you need.

since you're doing a makeover, go with DeLorean doors, 100000x better than lambo doors imo.

I meant to say earlier that you should definitely get your flame suit on. A lot of members here aren't going to agree with that look.

You think people think your car is an exotic because they don't know what it is? How did you come to that rediculous conclusion.

^ you'd be surprised.. when i went to Cayuga dragway at the line the announcer quote said "here we got a dodge ram 2500 hemi on slicks vs what appears to be .... a silver acura?" LOL u shoulda heard the tone, he was clueless... if i didn't have the A symbol on the back it would have been a complete mystery. so i can attest to the fact many people don't even have the slightest clue what this car is or when it was made..

people still come up to me and asked when it was made and when i say 2001 they dunno how to reply.

last person who asked me has owned 4-5 honda's acura's including the TL of our generation and he even didn't expect it to be as old as it was. and was complimenting the looks of it.

this car IMHO is timeless and suits the needs of an overall car to the NINES

theres a BIG difference between not knowing what a car is and thinking its an exotic.

i agree diddy but,

the first step to thinking it is something that it is NOT, is not knowing what it IS in the first place. then people come to their own conclusions. and there are plenty of ppl out there who don't know their ass from a t-bone steak.

To use a food reference:

You could put a plate of bull penis' in front of someone and they might think its sausage, but they sure as hell aren't going to mistake it for a rib eye
