maybe fogs for the prev. gen cl...i think they had the same huge round ones that the accord gets, but it was an option.

The ad is very deceptive, very confused - probably both.

The bulb shown is a 9006. It doesn't fit anywhere on a CL-S, least of all as a fog lamp. 9006's tend to be used as low beams for some Acuras, but not the CL-S since we have real HID Xenon low beams already.

If he means that he is selling 9005's, then these would work as replacements for your high beams (not fog lamps). The problem is that there is no way to specify that you want 9005's rather than 9006's in this auction.

The pictures comparing the two cars' beam patterns has been taken from the autosupermart.com website, where they are used to sell you their Solaris bulbs.

If you do an internet search on Hiper Industries you will find a whole bunch of places selling these bulbs on the cheap.

I've seen the Hipers' at Anything Ltd., in West L.A., where you can buy also buy the PIAA replacements for your highbeams and your road lamps. They're more expensive than rock bottom, mail order prices for PIAAs, but they'll put them put on for you gratis, too.

Im not sure if he is selling the headlight bulb? I think he is selling the bulb for the fog lights on the type S and '01 CL's alike. Car's like solara's use 9006 on the flood lamps, so maybe the CL-S and CL uses them too for the bottom lamps??

Check his feedback. Evidently other were confused as well. I wouldn't go for them. Nothing special about his minimum bid either.
