CL fenderwell trim, yes or no?

I have an 03 CL that seems to have magnets on the fenders. I have gotten 2 door dings already on my fenders and was wondering if anyone has seen what the fenderwell lip trim that Acura offers looks like. The pic on the Acura website is to far away to really get a feel for what it looks like on the car. My car is Dark Blue so it wont really stick out. Is the trim going to even stop ding from occuring on the fender lip? HELP...

The trim will probably help, but if you get dings and stuff from people's doors, wouldn't you have dings elsewhere and not just on the fender lip?

Personally, I think it looks alright....especially on darker cars. Had it on my black GSR and I was fine with it. Did save me a few times from the shopping carts and stuff, but my doors were still dinged pretty bad.

Agree 173% ... next you'll want to put rubber body trim strips down the sides ... don't do it ...
