To the members that have changed there spring and kept there stock shock, on there CL-S, Have you noted a harsher ride since the change and has this mod created more internal cabin noise(rattles)?

I'll be installing Konis later this month. Wish I this when I first installed the CT springs ... could have saved myself the cost of another alignment.

i have ct springs on stock shocks. the ride is as close to stock as you're going to get. im very picky about ride quality, and it's very good for what you get. just like what cls6sp03 said, better shocks will be able to handle the new springs much better.

I have CT springs with Koni's. Still very noisy over small bumps. Soaks up the big ones fine but they clunk even over paint stripes in the road. I wish Koni could have made the first 1/4 inch of travel a little softer.

My car is still rattle free. The only noise problem that I had was the moonroof issue, which was fixed with the anti-squeek tape under warranty.

and i agree with Danny...didn't really notice a difference in ride quality with the CT's...however, after Koni's, even on the softest setting, there's noticeable harshness, but it's more sporty, so u get what u pay for

as previous stated in a poll thread, it appears CT springs with Koni's is as close to stock ride as yer gonna get (assuming u change out the stock shox)

CT springs/stock shocks/stock sways = not really harsher but bouncier
CT Springs/stock shocks/CT sways = slightly more bounce than stock but much less than just springs.
Unless you are doing this for cosmetics I highly recommend getting the sways first. They are 80% of the handling improvement.
Oh, and I say this so much that I should put it in my sig -> the best improvment you can make is to get better tires!
