CL compared to an Accord Coupe?
CL compared to an Accord Coupe?
Gents... I know this may not be the right forum to post, but since my 2002 CL is crapping out, I have no choice but to replace it with another vehicle.
I was thinking to get the 2012 accord coupe (EX-L V6). How would you guys compare the new 2012 accord with my current 2002 CL? Ride wise? Engine wise? Tranny wise? Interior wise?
Are they even comparable?

My biggest concern is the cabin noise..... CL is very good at maintaining very low cabin noise, do accords even come close?
The newer Accords are quiet if given the proper tires. The new Accords will have completely new motors with even better fuel economy and power thanks to direct injection.
You'll see quite a few luxury features in the EX and Touring trims (not sure if Touring will be in the coupe or not)
LED headlights, Pandora integration, multiple angle backup camera, lane departure warning, blind spot notification etc.

Wait until the 2013s come out. At worst, you can get a left over 2012 at a discount. But from what Ive been hearing, the motor alone should make the 2013 worth it - 310hp V6, more then any Acura, which is surprising.I've had a lot of experience with a 2008 V6-6 coupe and a V6 sedan and Ive come away unimpressed. Im not saying its a bad car, it just doesnt do what I want it to do.
Like others said .. more luxury features. I feel that the cockpit just isn't as well put together as the CL though :/ Driving experience, similar but not as engaging. Why not check out a year old G37 or something similar ?
