CL = Daily Driver?
Just curious to see how many people use their CL as the primary car. I use my Accord for the daily chores like going to work, store, etc, and only roll the CL if I go out of town or to go pimpin' around on a weekend. It only gets driven every other week or so, thus the low miles :P

My cls is my daily driver.
I use the CLS to haul rolls of sod (the grass sod doesn't mess up the leather that bad), and I load up the trunk w/ loam and gravel when I have to. The pass thru is great for carrying lumber too (BTW, i'm joking...)
Seriously, I've got my summer weekend warrior VW bus camper, still have my TBird, and my late fathers Pontiac Bonneville at the house. My brother moved in w/ me, so there's his Tacoma truck and his 90 Tbird SuperCoupe too. So there's a total of 6 cars at my house.
The bus (rebuilt engine goes in this week) and SuperCoupe are in the garage for now, but once the bus is on the road, I'll garage the CLS to keep it out of the elements (hmmm... probably should get a car cover for it), and try to keep the mileage down.
I bought the CLS as a daily driver, but it'll be getting a break from the daily grind once the bus is put back together.
If I ever am able to buy a Z06 vette or Porsche 911, I'm sure that the CLS will make an excellent winter beater

a CL-S is a very nice car, however it certainly isnt anything that would nessesitate "weekend" car status its a 28k american built luxury car. its not like its a collector car or special car, etc. if people think of the CL-S as a weekend car then the people who drive BMWs must be CRAZY to drive them in the rain or in the winter!!! how dare they drive such a nice car on a regular basis!
you want a weekend car, get a TRUE sports car, or a classic muscle car, or something rare.

I love my car, but it is not special enough to relegate it as a garage queen or weekend only car.

and i'm not joking. i've done this before, gotta use the CL-S for all work stuff since it's my only car. don't worry, it's in great shape despite all the work it does.
cars are meant to be driven and used, not babied.

I now drive an accord....
My 6-Speed gets driven everyday to work
Although I do have a 1993 nissan sentra for when I go fishing, hunting or just to take places I don't care what happens to the car. I also have 4 pure winter tires for the sentra so its also my snow car. I do plan on selling the sentra, because I see no need for two cars, I want to get a used bronco or wrangler.

This poll is ridiculous. The CL doesnt deserve to be anything more then a daily driver...... maybe my opionion has been swayed since I've owned the car now for 3 years, and I'm on my 2nd tranny.

Yeah, Honda weekend cars are the S2000 and NSX and they are so reliable you can drive those everyday.
