i pulled out of my drive way this morning to go to work, then i got onto the main road....and this civic comes speeding over to me going probably 50mph in a 25mph zone and i was doing about 35, he tail gates me for about 2 blocks then we part our ways..........then i got onto the highway to go to work and i see this dude again it was a 2001-04 black civic coupe, had 18" rims,a evo 7 style hood, stickers down the side of his back window, anyways he continues to follow me until i passed a truck and he passed it too.

we got to the redlight and he starts revving his fart can.............light goes green we both stomp it and to my amazement i was about 1/2 from just launch and i just kept pulling on him until he shut down around 60. yay, i finally raced a civic instead of trucks whooping my ass

 

 

lol i got my ass whopped by a dodge ram 1500 and a dodge dakota all in one day!

 

Nice kill! Don't fret about the trucks. I saw a Dodge Ram with the Cummins beat a Viper. It was the most amazing race, I could not believe it.

I got beat by a cummings turbo diesel pre-I/H, but beat a Dakota 5.9 R/T w/mods post-I, pre-H. Trucks suck.

 

Trucks have torque and low end big time... Don't race unless you are in the upper end during a rolling start...

 

godamn i didnt know EM2's were that slow. i drive them everyday at work and they seem like there not much slower than my CL. i wanna race a new FG civic, i think they could handle CL's.

yea.. i feel u on the whole truck thing.... i raced my cousin in his Ford Lightning... i dunno what i was thinking when i decided to race a 13 second truck

 

I saw a dodge do 2000 something torque and 1900 HP in a vid on youtube. My friend showed it to me and i didnt believe it when i saw it. And i'm not joking...

 

I believe it. Those turbo diesels are so easy to tune. You can get those plug in turners and get like 100 hp and 100+ ft/lbs of torque just by pressing a button. Imagine replacing the turbos and piping. Incredible. Actually one day going to work I was next to this amazing jacked up 4x4 and I swear I've never heard anything like it before. It was a cross between a fighter jet and a helicopter. It was so exotic sounding it made my no-no region hurt.

 

I used to have an 01 civic, those things were slow as hell. The ONLY worth while up grade was a CUSTOM turbo kit. Anything else was a waist of time. Damn those D-series engines.

 

I had an 02 civic and the only thing that was fun about it was fixing up the suspension... Those things handle better than a lot of cars out there after the suspension was dun up

 

Last night, I raced a newer Ram 3500 diesel all decked out, that goddamn thing was fast. I kept in in 3rd all the way to redline, shifted to fourth and was able to pull away at 120. The driver let off at 100 (This was going to my parents house, Highway 18, going to Covington.) The truck was pulling on me hard, and I'm like WTF???

When I left to go up to Puyallup later on(South Hill area), a Ford fuckus SVT was messing with me. I showed him that I had more power in the top end and pulled away farely easily from a stop light. When the driver noticed I could do that, he slowed down and put 5 car lengths between him and me.

 

lol when i raced the truck i saw a little kid inside it basicly cheering that he whooped my ass........lol it was embarrising

 

ahhaahaha I only get challeneged by weaker cars such as corolla type S :P

I have not gotten beat by a pickup let alone a diesel one

You're lucky. I think the worst part about getting beat by one of those sick turbo deisels is when they blow by you they literally leave you in a black cloud of smoke. Sucks.
