Chk Engine Lite

I have the Viper Alarm and one time hit the Brake, AFTER I had started the car from the outside. I can't sware by it, but right after this, the check engine lite started coming on, only occasionally, on startup.

Anybody have this problem ? Or anybody have the check engine lite come on @ All ?

Only 6,200 miles on the Car. All the Fluids are fine. Engine sounds fine. That's all I can go on.

You may need to tighten the gas cap and if you up to 6k the manual explaines that the CKengine light will come on momentary as a reminder to service and once you get to 7500 it will stay on until reset and service.

Gas caps tight, so must be the "early warning"

So what's Acura gona want for my 7,500 check up and How much they going to HIT ME UP FOR !???

It's JUST an oil change and a tire rotation! - take it to an oil change place that rotates the tires for free with the oil change.

You can reset the "check" light yourself - see owners manual.
