I recently call jetchip.com/jet performance. Sales rep indicates that on our CL-S we can get about 12HP by re mapping the fuel/air mixture ratios, changing ignition timing and rev limiter that they can get anywhere between 11 to 12HP. Is this mod worth the $299. It take 24hrs to do the procedures and it all done with a spectrum tuning due to the fact that the chip is solder to the computer module/board.

Has anyone on this forum done any changes to there computer and if so, what gains were noted and was it worth the time. Any noticeable problems after the changes.

 

Do a search on this topic. There was a thread with many pages of discussion about this mod. Ogolden1 has this mod and claims an increase in HP, while others claim it is almost impossible to modify the ECU b/c it isn't reprogrammable.

Anyhow, do a search for the info and you will then be able to make a decision.

I have thought about doing this for a very long time.... i am thinking about going for it but i need to find a please near by since you live in TX where is the closest place jet has a facility???

I would go dyno the car before you get the chip on, then dyno it again....before and after dynos seem to help alot of people here go one way or another
