Chevy Avalanche

Not really anything to get excited about, but this idiot in a Chevy Avalanche tried to squeeze around me at a red light. He took off trying to pass me, but I decided to make him look slow. We were even until about 20, but then I just pulled and pulled and pulled. Probably had him by 4 car lenghts to 60.

It's sometimes fun making other cars look REALLY slow

Ahhh- Had to be in Danbury I lived there last year, and everybody just wanted to race me-- Danbury is the reason I hate CT - what a wierd neighborhood, you either drive a piece of shit, or you drive a 30k+ car - Thank God Im home now!

Oh yes... Danbury sucks. Have to live here for work. Definitely a strange mix of cars. I think the crappier ones come from Brewster.

I lived in Greenwich/Stamford before Danbury. Definitely a different mix of cars.. For my own good, none of the nice ones wanted to race (911 turbo's, Ferrari 360's, etc.)

I live down in Darien, and I spend all my time in Greenwich and Stamford, and there are definitely a much different mix of cars than upstate. Unfortunately for people like us, most of the people who are driving the really nice cars (911 Turbo's, GT2's, and 360's, among other things) are really old guys who don't know how to drive them. They just buy them to drive around town and show off, but I've hardly ever seen a guy really open up his car. Although, I'll admit that there is A TON of traffic around here, so you can't go 150, but I'd love to see a dude open up his $100K-plus car. The only time I saw something like that was when a service guy from the Ferrari dealer was in front of me getting onto I-95 one night, and he just opened that piece up...the sound had me going :wackit: all night....sooooo sweet!

...I won't comment on the Avalanche, since that moron is driving my own blood...so to speak

cusdaddy, what color was this avalanche? If it was a blue one I experienced the same thing on the road behind Stew's... I do have to say anyone driving a shit beater in Danbury is going to try to race you no matter what you're driving... Shame I will have to trade my suburban for th SS Silverado!
