This car was posted on dallas craigslist about a month ago then again a couple weeks ago. Dealer wants 16,000 for it. I went and saw it just for the hell of it. Interior needs to be vacuumed but other than that, it really is a perfect "new" car.

Actually that tranny has a really good possibility that it will fail once the new owner uses it. It's not under warranty anymore and once it gets to about 50k it's going to die. Early 01 trans has a high rate of failure.

 

i say they changed out the cluster with one that mustve been wrecked early... this is too rare of a find.... better check out the vin and see whats up.

if that is true milage, then the original owner lost alot of money with that car. Bought it for $30,000 and less than 1k miles and its going for 16 grand 8 years later with no milage...i have 60K for an 01 and i think i could probably sell my car for a little less than 12 probably and i bought my car more than a year ago with 50K for $13,500.

thats seems terrible..I went to the dealership (Competition Infiniti) and the guy said if i trade it in hell give me 9 grand for it. Il be honest that was about 3 months ago. KBB around the same time said high 10's for my car. Im in the NY area. It depends where you live, how much the car goes for. Im sure with the way everything is going that the price of cars will be dropping unfortunately.

 

I saw a deal like that once. They didn't mention the stains and smell from the dead guy in the trunk. BTW, it was a Lexus in that case, not an Acura, Honda Toyota.
