I wonder what could even be salvaged from that. The glass? A swatch of leather? Rear suspension?

Looks like significant body damage and engine bay damage.

No odor. C'mon, seller must not have a nose!

I questions whether that car in the photo is really a typeS due to the strange placement of the trunk "s" and the missing shift knob.. the only other place that I would be able to tell is the engine cover that is burnt... ??? (not that it really matters anyways....)

You can tell by the VIN that it's a automatic non-navi type S from the 2001 model year made at the Marysville, OH plant.

That wreck is worth $3500??

When I wrecked my '01 TypeS the insurance company said the salvage was worth only $3800. All my windows were intact and I had zero damage to anything on the car that was behind the front wheels except for the frame rails.

I'm betting my insurance company got more from the salvage than $3800.

How is that thing all burned up under the hood, yet the radiator hoses are intact?
Don’t they burn?

The intake is all burned up. I still don't understand how this happened. I wonder if this could be attributed to a haphazrd nitrous installation? Either that or just plain vandalism. Anyone else have any guesses onWTF happened here?
