CHECK THIS OUT!!!!
WHY THE HELL IS EVERYBODY PAYING MORE THAN 300.00 FOR COMPTECH SPRINGS WHEWN YOU CAN GET NEUSPEED SPORT FOR HALF THE PRICE WITH BETTER QUALITY. i HAVE THE NEUSPEED SPORT SPRINGS WITH KONI SHOCKS, AND 19INCH WORK WHEELS WITH 235/35/19 WHEELS AND I HAVE THE BEST RIDE IN THE WORLD. NO RUBBING, NO SCRAPING! EVERYBODY IS PAYING WAY TO MUCH FOR THE COMPTECHS, BUT IF THATS WHAT YOU GUYS WANT, THEN GO AHEAD AND PAY 300+ DOLLARS FOR THE SPRINGS.

I think a lot of people are getting Comptechs b/c they were designed for the TL/CL. The Neuspeeds you have were designed for the Accord, which is lighter than our car, so some people, like myself, don't want to risk having a problem with them. I actually called Neuspeed and Eibach and they said they will not warranty the springs if installed on the CL. In any case, I got my springs for $180.

I hate to tell, I know the distributors for comptech, comptech didnt make the springs, another company made the springs and put their names on it. By the way, if you knew anything about cars, youd know that the cl is based on the same chassis of the accord. Just a different motor. anyway, Im not trying to dis anybody, its just that Im looking out for all you cl owners. I also own a cls, and Ive been on this web page time to time looking at what people have to say about the cls and their concerns. thanks

I bought Neuspeed springs for my TL instead of Comptechs because I wanted a more extreme and even drop. The comptechs dont have as much of a drop and they drop the front and back unevenly. Otherwise they are great, high quality springs. It's just preference i guess

Also don't forget, my dealer said they will still honor the factory warranty with professionally installed Comptech parts. This is because Comptech works closely with Honda Racing. They will not cover the replaced part, but will honor the warranty for everything else around it. I don't know about you but that makes it worth more dough to me.

Coming to a city near you
Yeah people here are funny. You would think that comptech is like Mugen or Spoon. If it isn't made by comptech then it must be a piece of crap and we don't need it.

I agree. Ald also, you guys forget that the CL are a lot heavier than the Accord, but it is a preference. Some people prefer the real things, while others like imitations or fake that are compatible.

Does it matter? Who cares if they are not made by comptech. The point is that they are specifically made for the CL. As for the other springs they are for the Accord. Which I will repeat what was already said. The Accord is a lighter car which means that the springs were not tested on the heavier CL. Sure, they may work, but wouldn't you rather pay a little more for the piece of mind? It doesn't make sense to me that you would buy a $30k car and then buy a part that may not be specifically made for your car when you can get a part that is designed for your car for a few hundred more. But hey, if that's what you want to do, go ahead. But don't flame others for going the "safe" and more likely "smarter" route.
