Sucks you got to have a front license plate - But I really like it! The side skirt lines are a little funky, but they grew on me the more I looked at the pics - And the ONLY thing that has to go is that hideous license plate frame on the front plate!

Finally a real kit on a real car, with real up to date pics. Now I'm feeling the kit. Did the installer say how he mounted it? Screws, & tape? The rear exhaust outlets don't look centered for the Comptech's though. How does it fit? I don't see any gaps. Any one just get the sides, & rear? I wouldn't want the front. 4.5 inches in the front is too low for me, & I use the Bra for road trips.

Ok, bout the install. I got it done at Ridgewood Vehicle Company in Ridgewood, NJ. When I brought it to the place for the install and he saw the kit for the first time, he was like "After-market kits are garbage, they use crappy quality plastic" & "I'll do it, but I won't guarantee anything" & "We are gonna have to do a lot of work to get this fitted right" blah blah blah. I bought the kit and it was paid in full so I was like "Just do your best job" and I left it. I must say he got me thinking, I was worried all week, wondering if I made the wrong decision. Money is tight and I dropped enough on it. But I called and he said everything was going well, not a bad kit, it fit on well and just that the painting part was the only pain in the ass...
I picked it up this morning, was very happy about it, and it cost me $823 to install it.
I'd love to take the front license plate off but I don't want/need Jersey cops busting my balls
Yes it was installed with 3m tape and screws.
It looks much better in person, then any photos I've seen/taken
The comptech exhausts look fine, it's just the angle I took the photo.
Now I just want my fuckin racing grills!!!!!

Hey, I know what you are saying about the front licence plate. I've been harressed by the popo too... this is what I did. That way you can see the nose of our cars still.

I think it looks GREAT.
One minor improvement I think they should have done.
There should be another piece that goes on the door.
The way that accent line seems to start – stop – start then stop again just doesn’t look right.
Otherwise definitely worth the 1200 bucks or so.

CLS2001_97124, I never noticed in pics that the front of the TL kit is not flat. Did you ask for it like that or was that the fault of the bodyshop? Your shit looks sick from all other angles.

Dont mean to jack this thread...
Titand19, I wanted mine like that because I elected to not cut the front lip into sections and then piece it bact with extensions. Plus I kinda like it better that way... a little different.

I think the kit is alright. Prob look better with a TL lip instead. That lip on the kit is just too long and looks too busy whereas the TL is complimenting. The back and sides are cool tho.

Guess the kit cannot exist with the mudguards?

Dre that looks nice man! Too bad we 1st Gens get raped for a crappy as kit! Yours is sweet. I would ditch the front plate and bracket and take my chances with the law. I am almost 2 years with out a front plate in MD, and I haven't been bothered yet.

i think the front lip sits way too low. if your on comptechs then mine would be so much closer to the ground that it would scare me. maybe if i see it in other colors once other people get their kits put on then i'll decide.

the front doesnt look very fitting.....kinda awkward..looks like it was slapped on....the sides are OK....but for some reason, the kit doesnt seem to match the car very well..too many defined edges for a round car.....seems liike its sumthin for a civic...no offense to u of course....just my 2 cents...
