Cheap Radar Detector ?

OK, I have a remote unit in my CL which I love, but I often drive other cars and travel for work. I am looking to buy a relativly cheap unit that I can bring with. Cordless would be nice, but not really important. This is not a V1/8500 debate. Looking for decent unit at reasonable price. Any advice?

Thanks,
David

You get what you pay for. Why bother? Just drive close to the limit, blend w/ traffic and you'll be fine.

Sorry this doesn't answer your question but that's my opinion for it.

Cordless suck, soon as the batterys start losing power so does your range for detecting radar...

I've got a cheap radar detector, but for my daily commute, I don't use it (too many false alarms). I know the areas where the cops hang out (route 95 and 195). I drive "a little above" the speed limit, and it's hard to blend in with traffic with a red car, but I only get a speeding ticket once every couple of years, so...
