cheap 6-speed

I was looking through the classifieds and saw a listing for an 03 CL-s 6-speed. mileage was not there but the asking price was only 16,848. Might be worth looking into if you're looking for a 6-speed. If theres any interest, i'll go get the phone number. By the way it's be in the providence/boston area. Also, its from a car dealership, not private seller.

Most of the lower priced examples are high mileage...

As a 6spd owner, I find it interesting because it does give an idea of what my 6spd will be worth in another 3 years (37K miles since I bought it in Oct. 2002).

But it's listed in the paper for $16.8K Maybe they just haven't updated the website, or figure they might get a sucker to pay that...

Few months ago, I stumbled upon this white '95 M3. Had a few things done to it. It was just chillin' at this hole in the wall dealer by my house. I go to look at it. Dude comes out, I asked him a little about it. He said that they just sold it for $17,500, with 80,000 miles on it. I laugh and walk off. I look in the auto trader later that day, and see it listed for $13,400. I laughed even harder.

I've got nearly 100k miles and I believe slyraskal has 125k miles on his 03, neither of us have had any major mechanical problems as far as I know.

80k miles is still very good mileage for this car.

I think the only thing that's been reported by multiple members with higher miles on the 2nd gen CL has been front wheel bearings (which is a normal wear thing anyways). Bulldog01 and Mike from the boston area have had them replaced.

ChiefF1fan has reported that something went on his ABS, but that's only one case.

I've got only 40K miles on my CLS, and I'll probably keep it for awhile (I had my last car for 8 years), so I've been watching out for potential problems with 100K plus mile cars (and haven't noticed any reported issues here).
