Changing spoiler to lip spoiler
Anyone know about this conversion?
Whats the process? I am assuming when I take the factory one off it will leave 2 holes. I mean its screwed in pretty obvious.
But wondering if I just bring to a body shop have them fix it?
what do you guys think?

there was a poll about that... this topic is gonna be ripped again i see i like oem spoiler you like lip whatever just do what you like the CL's ass it to long to stay without any kind of spoiler i decide to go oem might be cuz CleanCL sold me it for mega cheap and was the same color i lime lip one too but id say oem looks better on such a big ass
when you pop the trunk you will see 4 nuts so there is gonna be 4 holes in the trunk lid after spoiler removal or even 5 cuz one extra for a wire

i have the spoiler, and I also use it to lift the trunk and close it.. Quite a big handle if i may say so..
and I couldn't agree with you more about the CL's Big ass. the spoiler fixes that issue right up. I simply would not drive my car or like it for that matter w/o a spoiler. But that's just me...
thank god the spoiler was an option or else I never would have gotten the first CL-p in my family which would mean I probably wouldn't have gotten another cl.
actually now that I think of it if you have a silver cl and a carbon fiber lip THAT would be some ganxtr shyt. I know someone who could make me that too

I have an '01 CL Type-S, it's without a spoiler and I love it. I think the CL's big ass makes it sexy and the oem spoiler isn't my cup of tea at all. I'm looking into getting a lip spoiler though, it looks a lot better with that one....I think.
and get myself some parts

I got this lip spoiler from a seller on eBay. Not sure if it's cool to give details about the sale? I don't have any association with them other than being a buyer of their goods.

yea there will be 2 holes atleast, you might have some paint damage too from contact and or dirt etc getting stuck under it. id suggest getting it repainted and when you do remove the A emblem and have them fill in those holes too.
