Changed the spark plugs with NGK Iridiums...

but that fu**ing 6th one by the fuse box i can't get out. it's too tight and i have no leverage to get the plug out. had to give up this evening and try again this coming weekend. just too little space in there.

so far with just the 5 plugs replaced, idling is much smoother, acceleration better and slightly more responsive. i guess its ok if i leave the 6th plug in there for now, right?

i have 62k miles on the cl now. any suggestions on how to get the 6th one out. if not, i'll just persevere a little more when i work on this again.

iirc, there is a bracket or something restricting access a bit. just move it out of the way.

do you have a swivel adapter?

yes, i do have a swivel adapter. there's just not enough room to get leverage and the old plug is screwed on so tight. isn't the bracket part of the "stablizer" bar? i will have to check again this weekend.

i would bet once all your plugs are changed, you will see some good improvements based on the simple fact that your plugs are so tight, spark plugs shouldnt be more than hand tight

hey thanks. i unbolted that bracket you were talking about that held that tube. moved it out of the way which gave me a bitmore leverage to remove the plug. thanks a bunch man!!!!
