You're asking for trouble.

As far as engine noise i'll agree our cars just sound flat out meaner then the the 3.5.

But the exhaust note on the FX, Murano, G etc. is just great.

Being a former CL-S owner and now a Murano SE owner....and considering the mods you note in your signature...the outcome of your race doesnt surprise me.

I had a discussion a couple of months ago on this board about Muranos racing cl's and i can say with a lot of confidence...that a Murano SE with 6-speed sportshift would be capable of hanging around the 01 & 02 CL-S on the highway...but only on the highway. no contest from a standing start..the CL-S is just faster.

the beauty of the CVT 3.5 in the murano, ESPECIALLY with the sport shift cant be fully appreciated until you get rolling...and the higher the speeds..in my experiences..the more the Murano pulls, the faster it gets... that was something that i never felt with my CL-S. The Murano is really a fun highway car..sokmething much to my surprise when i decided to buy one.

Just my 2cents.... sure do miss the acceleration from the CL-S sometimes!
