hey guys i was wondering if any of you cf guys can help me out, i just got a cf hood and was wondering how thick is your hood? mines kind of thin and theres some give to it, i was wondering if yours was the same or thicker.

 

Most are usually fairly thin.

who'd you order from? hopefully it will sit flush with all existing panels. making thin hoods is one way of making them lightweight i guess.

 

i found one on ebay that is made by Carbon EFX out of California, said it takes 3 days to produce and took 4 days to get to NY, but due to the weather they were having it took a little longer. i admit it took too long but it looks good and they have 97.4% positive feedback on ebay and no complains lately so hopefully it'll be good, bringing it in to the shop tomorrow

 

What color CL you got? Make sure you post some pics, I want to see how it turns out, I was thinking about putting a cf hood on my smr. I was thinking about painting and letting just a little of the cf peak through the paint. My front end needs paint bad....

i gots black on black, ill let you know how the install goes and if its good ill be sure to let you guys in, they got colored cf too dont know if you guys would be interested in that but yeah we'll see hopefully the shop has room today for me
