if hes talking about the whole trunk and not just the part that opens. im gonna say that its really heavy. i put about 50lbs on the turnk lid it self, and that was one layer (my tl-s)

 

I used an entire bulk kit for the trunk and the lid, then some extra for the lid.....and my bass is clean as hell sounding while in the car. I still have to dynamatt my frame behind my rear seats, under my rear seats, nad my rear deck. Might add a little weight, but my baby is fast enough as is, and sounds great too. So it payed off in my eyes (and ears).

 

So then was I right then...?

My estimation of a couple hundred pounds with two layers of deadening in a trunk?

 

No bro.....the bulk kit of dynamatt extreme only weighs around 40lbs total. So I probably have around 60 lbs of extra weight.
