This thing looks very cool. It won the Best Engineered New Product at SEMA 2003. I was wondering if anyone had bought it yet.

I was thinking about getting the E/X model, just because I am curious about the info we can get out of our car's computer. It says it can record up to four of the following parameters every 5-60 seconds:

• RPM
• Throttle position
• Engine load
• Coolant temperature
• Intake manifold pressure
• Air flow rate
• Intake air temperature
• Timing advance
• Fuel pressure
• Fuel system status
• Short– and long–term fuel trim
• Oxygen sensor output voltage
• Battery voltage

Which of these would you be most interested in, if any? Give me some reasons to get one of these. I've gone too long without buying some useless geek-toy.

 

This thing is pretty sweet....I think I saw it on MotorWeek or MotorTrend TV....I don't really know what I would do with the info though...but would be cool to have. I'm sure it's useful to help you figure out the sweet point of the car.
