EDIT: The hood is in stock. And the trunk lid has to be special ordered. Spendy but definately worth it.

If you do paint them, just do a light coating, so you can still see the CF. I had that on my Accord.

i ended up doing that, service manager was a bit puzzled bc he told me the trunk wouldnt stay open, i said i dont care. tech came out and saw the CF. we ended up removing both springs. bc 1 removed and it still didnt hold it up. if i had one of the spoiler springs in it may have worked, but i think they were the standard trunk springs. oh well.

no charge. i tossed the tech a few dollars for climbing into my trunk.
