Carbon Fiber Trunk Installed w/ Rice Pictures

stock trunk: 25 lb
stock spoiler: 5 lb
cf trunk: 13 lb

fitment was perfect, install took 5 minutes. i need to remove at least 1 of the springs. i may remove them both and install hydraulics like the hood has. hood comes in sometime next week, unfortunately i can't get them painted until next year. on with the rice.

Where'd you get the trunk from?

i'm contemplating putting the emblem on, but i might leave it off, and do a mugen style grill, so no emblems.

yes, ViS. last one in stock.

local place www.trtautotech.com got it for me.

i always thought this car needed a spoiler, but i'm going to leave it for now. first time ever this car has been spoilerless.

I'm usually not a fan of carbon fiber hoods/trunks, but I have to admit, that does look clean (your keeping the CleanCL name up). When are you expecting the spoiler?

I think your wrong on that...white and carbon fiber on black rims would be a nice combination...then again...white looks good with a lot of things...imo

btw - everyone else m3 spoiler looks a little short, theres always a gap on each side, i measured it out w/ a piece of string and i think 48" will go across the whole thing, i was tempted to go even longer and have a slight flap over, but i thought that might be stupid.

i still think you should have it painted lightly so the CF weave barely shows. ive seen some M3 guys do that with their CSL trunks and it looks soooo good.
