Question car vibrates while in park or nutral.

So i just got my car back from being rebuilt. it's got 1200kms on the trans and now I have a new problem.

I dunno if they are related.

when the car is out of D or R it has a light pulsing vibration.. i mean it won't giggle my change in the car or nothing. But its noticeable, and more than that it is annoying the few time i'm ever in the car with it not in gear.

And the rpm gauge is bang on the money the whole time this vibration is occurring.

I just like things to be the way they should be.

Anyone got any ideas? PLEASE HELP
I'm all ears.

Does the vibration change if you rev the engine?

how do your mounts look? Any fluid leaking from them?

Are there and CEL 's on?

If there are CEL it might be a coil pack , but usally with a bad coil pack the vibration is bad and the CEL is on...
It might be a engine mount, they do go bad alot!

no CEL.

all mounts are in perfect working order.

This issue only comes about when the car is fully warmed up and is in park on neutral.

it's minor I'd say, but it's noticeable. and it's be real nice not to have a freak of a CL.

Something tells me this is gona b one of those problems you gotta live with or spend more time and money than it is worth to fix th damn thing

Maybe they forgot to reconnect the vacuum line on the front or rear motor mounts? I know I forgot to reconnect the one on my front motor mount and I got a similar symptom.

the front one I had replaced cause it was cracked and yes it is connected. I haven't gone underneath the car to scrutinize everything but I would be hearing a vaccume leak though wouldn't I?

kk i jacked the car up and carefully went over the diagram extremely carefully, and did it 2xs. And everything is where it should B. There's no sign of vaccume leaks or anything of that nature. It's like the car has a mind of it's own. LOL.

I thought it went away this morning but no the car just wasn't warm enough.

It only happens when the car is FULLY warm, the idle is as low as possible. 750 (+-50)

A/C makes it worse slightly. if that helps. The vibration actually goes away for about 1-2seconds then comes back more aggressive.

But like i said. once the car is in drive or reverse, none of these problems exist.

Why does it seem like it's only me who gets these 1 of a kind problems

I'd say your mounts. Just cause they look good doesn't mean much. The rear could be bad or the trans mounts may be bad.
I'd live with it for now. See if it gets worse or better over time.

it is somewhat intermittent. every now and then. It also seems like the higher up on the motor the more it shake is felt.

Could this b due toa vaccume leak? cause I did the tb spacer and plenums and didn't use new gaskets.

I thought I heard a vaccume leak actually but I don't know, it may be in my head.

Does the car make a hissing noise on the intake side of the manifold towards the bottom near the manifold gasket? I do have an intake so it may just be that, but does anyone know?

Maybe i gotta take the manifold off again and see wtf is up

k n/m the noise i was hearing was the noise from the intake produced in the throat of the manifold. So no luck 4 me.

k after much reading up on this topic it seems many with my issue cannot resolve it. And it's a trial and error process.

Apparently I'm supposed to be checking the plugs, tps, and coil packs
